International Program
With 59 films selected from 3,000 entries, the International Exhibition presents a sample of the best the short film format has to offer on the planet. Handpicked by a team of 15 film editors, with the help of 12 film students, the exhibitions were organized with the patience and precision of a lacemaker.
This multiplicity of perspectives translates into a highly diverse program, pointing in various directions like a fireworks display that fills the sky with lights, colors and sounds: films from 40 different countries, serious or irreverent, creative and original. Unreleased shorts and films that have won awards at major international festivals (Berlin, Cannes, Locarno, among others), debut directors and renowned filmmakers are the grape varieties that we have brought together to form this special harvest.
More removed from the pressures of the market, the short film offers a unique space for freedom and experimentation. It is this vitality of global production that we intend to showcase.
